About Pat Fisher - President and CEO
Serving clients throughout the U.S. and internationally, Pat has had a long history of providing strong leadership in the IT and security fields. She formerly served on the audit committee of the New York City Housing Authority as its IT and security expert. Pat is on the Board of the CT Tech Council, and served as a member of the International Information Security Standards guidance board.

What is JANUS Associates?

Who are your competitors and how do you distinguish your company from them?
JANUS distinguishes itself from our competitors by exclusively utilizing senior level employees on all engagements. JANUS performs at a quality level comparable to the largest consultancies without the high cost often associated with them. What are the biggest opportunities for you over the next year?
JANUS sees opportunities over the next 12 months in assisting clients by providing virtual chief information security officer (vCISO) services. Information and cyber security have become mission critical, and many organizations do not have the time, staff, knowledge, or budget to properly fulfil their security, privacy, and compliance requirements. vCISO services are an affordable way for an organization to improve their security posture without having to staff an entire group within their organization. JANUS’ unique team approach brings a full roster of senior level professionals across multiple disciplines to service client needs, while maintaining a single point of contact. vCISO services are applicable to any organization regardless of size and are especially well suited for small to mid-sized organizations.
What is the greatest business challenge facing your company right now?
The biggest business challenges JANUS sees in the next 12 months is the ability for clients to fulfill their obligations necessary to meet mutually agreed upon timelines. Clients go into an engagement with the best intentions but sometimes get distracted from the tasks at hand, often by the need to keep daily operations running.
