Kiley Carlton - CEO

The following is an interview with Kiley Carlton.

Kiley Carlton founded USPRO in 2009. A child of a successful staffing pioneer, she grew up with a passion and understanding for the staffing industry. An entrepreneur in spirit, along with comprehensive knowledge and appreciation for the profession, she decided to write her own story.

What is USPRO?

Kiley Carlton, CEO & Founder of USPRO, a Staffing Services Firm servicing clients with their contingent and direct-hire staffing needs across multiple industries nationwide.

Connecticut has a very special place in USPRO’s history. We achieved our initial success in business supporting a Connecticut based company, Sikorsky Aircraft, working on the Black Hawk Program. I look forward to contributing to the CT Tech Council and platform, sharing ideas and resources to a community that was instrumental in our success.

Who are your competitors and how do you distinguish your company from them?

USPRO provides support to its clients for their contract/temporary & direct hire needs. Our verticals cover Engineering & Technical support in the Defense, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Financial and IT disciplines. While we do have a national client base, we would place our competitors in a category of small-to-medium staffing firms that compete in those sectors.

USPRO takes pride in our successful track record of success and client endorsements, citing our unique customer service approach. We define success as having both a happy client and happy candidate. We also won’t disappear if or when problems or challenges occur. We work in true partnerships, becoming a trusted advisor to both, for the same common goal which is a successful placement.

An additional distinction is our tailor-made approach which provides clients with information on trends, challenges or issues in their respected industries, which helps refine recruitment strategies. This allows clients visibility on the best talent, not just the best candidates.

What are the biggest opportunities in your market over the next year?

The Technology industry is currently one of the fastest growing industries from Financial Technology, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Technology to Workspace Technology. USPRO is proud to be a part of this vital industry by supporting our clients with the best talent possible.

What do you view as the greatest business challenge facing your

company?

Financial uncertainty might be the greatest challenge. The cost of business continues to increase for industry technology and services, along with rising interest rates and historically low unemployment, this leaves little margin for error.
