Startup Spotlight
We are putting a philanthropic spin on startups with this week’s spotlight… Youth Rights Media (“Making Media, Making Change”) is a New Haven-based non-profit focused on empowering youth to understand, protect and advance their rights, power and leadership skills through video media production and community organizing. The idea was started 11 years ago by a group of Yale Law students to develop a youth rights education program utilizing video as a teaching tool that became YRM in 2002. Check out this inspiring group and…they happen to be looking for a Program Director too!
