The Medal of Science is Connecticut’s highest honor for scientists and engineers. It is designed to recognize extraordinary achievements in scientific fields crucial to Connecticut’s economic competitiveness and social well-being. Modeled after the National Medal of Science, this award is bestowed by the Governor in alternate years with the Connecticut Medal of Technology.
The Connecticut Department of Higher Education has put out a call for 2011 CT Medal of Science nominations.
