Michael Cantor is co-managing partner of Cantor Colburn LLP, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the country.  Mr. Cantor couples his technical training in chemical and materials engineering with more than 25 years of experience as an IP attorney to help Fortune 50 corporations, universities, tech start-ups, and mid-sized companies develop and carry out targeted IP strategies that fulfill their needs and objectives in a complex global economy. He has taught patent law and procedure at the University of Connecticut School of Law for nearly twenty years. Appointed by Governor M. Jodi Rell to the Connecticut Development Authority board, Mr. Cantor was named to the Board of Directors of Connecticut Innovations by Governor Dannel P. Malloy after the two groups merged in 2012 and is now its chairperson.
