Jeffrey is the Vice President for Research at the University of Connecticut. As VP for Research Jeffrey is responsible for helping chart the research mission of the University and for enhancing the environment to enable the faculty to achieve that mission through externally funded research, and training and service programs. Jeffrey provides leadership in the development of major existing and emerging research areas and in the identification and cultivation of funding sources.
As a member of the President’s cabinet, Jeffrey advises on major policy issues affecting the University, serves as the Institutional Official, provides leadership concerning research and graduate education, and serves as an advocate on these matters both within and outside the University.
